Students are expected to take notes in class, ask questions, and complete assignments.  This honors class requires a high level of dedication to achieve success. Remember you elected to take this class and you will be responsible for your learning. If you study on a consistent basis, then you should learn pre-calculus this semester. I will facilitate your learning and assist you, but you must do the work. . In order to master most mathematical concepts or processes, practice is required. Homework is assigned almost every night to give you opportunities to practice. You should do the homework with the idea of engaging the concepts and doing the assignment well, not just to get it done. You should keep your practice and class notes as a organized product.

  • The district has changed plans multiple times for students and staff, so be prepared for possible change during the semester.
  • Tutoring is available in person or virtually during the semester.

Materials needed for class: Chromebook, pencil, paper (notebook or binder), graph paper , ruler and graphing calculator . Optional supplies may include tissue and hand sanitizers.
